Run Windows XP in Windows 8
Requirements:
- Download WindowsXPMode_en-us.exe, which requires a prove that you must have a valid Windows 8 installed
- Download Virtualbox
Step-1
Use an archive tool to open downloaded WindowsXPMode_en-us.exe file as an archive
Step-2
Access “sources/xpm” file inside the opened archive and extract that folder to your computer
Step-3
In “xpm” folder you will find “VirtualXPVHD” file, you have to rename it with VHD extension
Step-4
Install Virtualbox and open renamed “VirtualXPVHD” file there
Enjoy, you are running Windows XP in Windows 8 for free without purchasing any license.
